The mission of ComCor is to develop, establish, and maintain community based corrections programs that provide sanctions and alternatives to incarceration, and to provide leadership and coordination throughout the criminal justice community. ComCor offers a variety of programs for nonviolent offenders that help save jail space in the adult detention center, allowing offenders to maintain their jobs, support their families, and provide restitution to the crime victims and the community. ComCor works with state and government agencies to provide these alternative programs.


ComCor, a growing company is currently seeking a responsible individual to fill the position of Intensive Residential Treatment Case Manager. The IRT Case Manager is responsible for the supervision of adult felony offenders. Develops and implements a case plan and client's treatment programs contractually.  Responsible for client's orientation and referral services.  Documents all client activities


  1. Supervises adult felony offenders;
  2. Conducts risk assessment interviews;
  3. Prepares IRT Progression Matrix case plans and chronological records on client's progress and/or concerns;
  4. Coordinates, plan, and facilitate IRT client groups per program curriculum and in accordance with IRT contract
  5. Meets with client at least once a week to monitor progress in the program and to insure they are following the court-ordered conditions and for counseling, as needed;
  6. Communicates effectively with courts, attorneys, probation officers and parole officers regarding client progress;
  7. Completes intake paperwork for new clients, informs clients of rules and policies of ComCor, and verifies employment;
  8. Maintains client's paper and electronic file for changes, releases, work schedule, treatment schedule, etc;
  9. Makes appropriate referrals for clients to obtain needed services;
  10. Creates various reports to include termination, program reviews, client budgets etc;
  11. Facilitates psychoeducational classes;
  12. Conducts discharge planning with clients and referring agencies;
  13. Conducts cognitive behavioral interventions;
  14. Attend staffing’s to discuss client case plan needs;
  15. Collaborates with service providers, referring agencies, and government agencies to provide client updates and obtain services for clients;
  16. Performs other job related duties as required.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or a related field required with one year counseling experience preferred.  Experience in half-way house/supervised residential environment and/or corrections management essential.  Previous work experience with offenders, drug abusers, or alcoholics preferred.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to write cohesive and comprehensive documentation.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, community members and other stakeholdersAbility to show empathy and sensitivity to clients.
    • Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.
    • Ability to organize and conduct several tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to maintain a high tolerance to mental stress
    • Flexibility in responding to crisis outside of normal business hours and ability to work some evenings and/or weekend
    • Ability to participate in a 24-hour a day on-call system.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use correctional software.




Work Environment: This job operates in a correctional residential setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners and fax machines.


Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit for various amounts of time. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position functioning in a 24/7 operation. Shifts are eight (8) hours in length and hours and days of work may vary depending on operational requirements.


Travel: Some light travel may be required for this position for meetings, trainings, and to various facilities. All travel must be pre-approved by management.
